NBAS training opportunity: Zimbabwe 2025
We are delighted to have the opportunity to offer 7 fully-funded Neonatal Behavioural Assessment Scale (NBAS) training places for practitioners working in Zimbabwe. The course will take place on the 25th & 26th February 2025 at the Bronte Garden Hotel in Harare with two trainers from the Brazelton Centre UK.

We have the opportunity for 7 individuals to attend our 2-day training course in the Neonatal Behavioural Assessment Scale – each of the 7 course places will be fully funded by the Brazelton Centre UK. This includes:

- NBAS kit
- 2 day NBAS course fully funded: 25th & 26th February 2025 at the Bronte Garden Hotel in Harare.
- Post training support and certification
Please note this funding does NOT cover any personal costs related to the training such as travel or accommodation.
Who is this opportunity open to?
We welcome interest via our application form below from any individual professional working with newborn babies and their families in Zimbabwe. The individual will be passionate about using the NBAS tool to make a tangible difference to babies and their families, especially in promoting an understanding of baby communication.
Requirements of successful candidates:
Individuals successfully awarded an NBAS training place are expected to fulfil the following:
- Certification within 12 months of attending the NBAS training course.

Submit written reports of impact at 3 months, 6 months and 1 year following certification including details on how you are implementing the NBAS into your work with families and the impact you are seeing. Reports will preferably include at least one photo and one piece of feedback from a parent and/or manager. Please gain consent for quotes and photos to be used by the Brazelton Centre UK for their website and social media.
