Except if you are talking about Brazelton Centre UK bursaries! We are always delighted to reach this time of year when applications open for our bursaries, which enable practitioners to access FULLY-FUNDED places on both our Neonatal Behavioural Assessment Scale training (worth £745) and Newborn Behavioural Observations training (worth £465).
The aim and mission of our bursaries is to support practitioners, who for whatever reason, may not have access to the funding/finance to undertake NBAS or NBO training, but who are passionate about embedding an understanding of baby behaviour and communication in their service for families. This may be in a neonatal unit, in a community clinic, in a maternity service, as part of parent-education classes (and infinite other contexts).

But here are a few key points not to miss:
- Deadline for all applications: 30th November 2022
- Eileen Hayes bursary: For professionals working with newborn babies and their families in the United Kingdom.
- Reach Beyond bursary: For professional working with newborn babies and their families in countries with low-income or middle-income economies.
- How are successful candidates selected? All applications are read with care and a decision will be based on those the team believes best fulfil the application criteria, including:
• Someone who would otherwise not have the means to fund a training place.
• Someone who demonstrates how they will implement and embed their training to make a
transformative difference to the families in their care.
